The wife of San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner is getting candid about what it’s like being the spouse of an NFL player.
During a recent Instagram Q&A, Sydney Hightower had a good laugh when asked if “it is hard being a WAG,” and how she “deals with women wanting your man.”
“Idk why this gave us a good laugh,” the former “Bachelor” contestant wrote alongside a skull emoji.
The influencer and NFL star, who vacationed in Hawaii at the time, were heard laughing in the background of the clip.
“Oh my god I’m dead,” said Hightower, laughing in response to the question.
Hightower did not show their faces in her response, instead posting a scenic shot of the ocean as they ate.
Though excited about the 2023 season, Hightower said the start of a NFL new year makes her slightly uneasy.
“I always have a tad bit of anxiety when the season starts,” she said. “It’s just such a fast crazy span of months but still super exciting and a lot of fun every year!”
Hightower was a former contestant on Peter Weber’s season of “The Bachelor” in 2020.
She wed Warner in June 2022.
In her Q&A, Hightower explained that the couple met because Warner’s family “was a fan of ‘The Bachelor’ and tuned in during my season!”
Hightower previously shared on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast that Warner slid into her DMs at the suggestion of his sister-in-law.
The influencer also divulged the best wedding advice that has been successful for the couple.
“Thus far I’d say it’s kinda simple,” Hightower wrote. “People often make marriage feel so daunting & scary. But for us personally I think kindness and patience is the answer to it all.
“Knowing your partner, putting each other first before anything else, respect, patience and kindness. This has been my anchors!
Hightower also shared that she mourned the loss of her maiden name after marrying Warner.
“BUT I do love Warner and it fits perfectly so I’m blessed to have it,” she wrote.
Upon returning from their four-day Hawaiian vacation, Hightower shared a collage of photos from the trip, along with a message about the NFL preseason.
“40 days away in paradise (technically it was only 4),” she joked. “We enjoyed every second of it!
“Now we are closer than ever to pre season officially starting , so we’re taking these days to soak up the last of the off season bliss.”
