Joie Chavis is a well-known social media personality and model who gained prominence through Instagram, where she shares lifestyle content, fashion photoshoots, and workout routines with her followers, but some people are accusing her of being a gold digger. Here’s why…
Chavis has also worked as a professional dancer and choreographer and she has been romantically linked to several high-profile figures, including rapper Future, with whom she shares a child. Another names include P Diddy and Bow Wow.
Additionally, Chavis has collaborated with various fashion and fitness brands, leveraging her online presence to establish herself as a notable influencer in the entertainment industry but some are claiming she’s leveraging more than just her personality and now she’s hit back…
“[Some people say], ‘Oh, she’s a gold digger,’ or, ‘She’s just having these babies to secure a bag,” Chavis said on YouTube. “I always have worked since I was 15 years old.
“I don’t know what it’s like to just not do anything. So, I think that’s the biggest misconception, and it doesn’t bother me at all. The people that know me, obviously, I’m so much more than that.”
Her relationships and connections with other public figures continue to be of interest to her followers, contributing to her ongoing relevance in entertainment circles.
But the news might have hit her as specific details about her relationship/s after Future have been more private than in previous years.
After having children with Bow Wow and Future in 2011 and 2018, the 35-year-old is now expecting her third after announcing the news in March.
The father is Trevon Diggs, the Dallas Cowboys’ star cornerback, who she began dating with in September 2022 when he made the first move by celebrating her birthday.
Even that relationship hasn’t seen her protected from claims of cheating/gold-digging as Diggs‘ ex blasted Chavis for appearing on a photograph with Diggs, even though his baby mother was no longer dating him.
